Machine-readable markup for languages/language names in Commons i18n templates

Hi Multichill! I am trying to come up with a machine-readable standard for i18n in Commons templates such as {{En}} or {{LangSwitch}} so that CommonsMetadata can parse them correctly (right now it returns something like English: <english text> in some cases).
